We welcome residents, visitors, and community groups to our campus to experience both The Art Collection and the works in the Derfner Judaica Museum. Both collections are free to visit and open to the public.
LOCATIONS AND HOURS
The Museum will reopen on Tuesday, March 8. Regular hours for The Art Collection and Derfner Judaica Museum are listed below. For holiday hours or exhibition information, call 718.581.1596.
Art Collection, Sculpture Garden and Grounds
Located throughout the public areas of the Hebrew Home campus
Open daily, 10:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Derfner Judaica Museum
Located on the main floor of the Jacob Reingold Pavilion
Open Sunday-Thursday, 10:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Photo ID is required for admission to the Hebrew Home campus at all times.
All visitors to the Museum ages 5 and older are required to show proof they have received two vaccine doses, except for those who have received the one dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine. Visitors 18 and older are also required to show identification along with their proof of vaccination. Face masks are required for all Museum visitors over the age of 2, even if vaccinated. Proof of vaccination may include:
- CDC Vaccination Card (or photo)
- NYC COVID Safe app
- New York State Excelsior Pass
- NYC Vaccination Record
- An official immunization record from outside NYC or the US
Valid ID includes:
- Driver’s license
- Government ID card
- IDNYC card
- School ID card
