Andrew Gaines
Andrew Gaines is Head of Executive Compensation and Employee Benefits in the U.S. office of Linklaters LLP. He has over 40 years of experience advising on executive compensation and employee benefits at leading law firms, including Paul Weiss and Weil Gotshal.
He has advised clients on complex compensation and benefits matters across mergers and acquisitions, capital markets transactions, and restructuring and bankruptcy. He is also a recognized leader in the New York bar, advising investment fund sponsors and pension plan investors on Title I ERISA matters.
Andrew has been consistently recognized by Chambers USA and The Legal 500 as a leading individual in employee benefits and executive compensation, with clients describing him as “an incredible subject matter expert who is also very practical.”
He has served on the RiverSpring Living Board of Trustees for 15 years and as a Trustee of Hobart College for 14 years. Andrew enjoys golf, racquet sports, and fitness. His wife Monica and daughters Lauren and Emily are also active supporters of RiverSpring Living.
