RiverWalk Featured New Resident
New RiverSpring residents Nason and Carole joined the RiverWalk community last month from Florida, where they have resided for 25 years. The couple married fifty-seven years ago after meeting as young adults in their synagogue. After their first date, Carole told her mother she had met the man she was going to marry.
Nason, a Rabbi, worked for many years as a Chaplain at a senior living community in Florida. Carole taught Hebrew school and later became a hospital Administrator. Together they raised three children, 2 daughters, and 1 son.
They return to the northeast to be closer to their daughters. Since moving to RiverWalk, they have been making new friends and participating in the programs and lectures. Carole is intrigued by the diverse backgrounds and interests of her fellow residents. Nason likes to swim in the indoor heated pool. He always has a positive attitude, and his favorite saying as he greets everyone is, “make it a good day!”
Join us in welcoming Nason and Carole to their new home!

Meet Our Team
KATHERINE MURPHY
Director Senior Housing Services
“It’s not easy, moving from your home of 40 years. When I help each prospective resident get past that thought and realize RiverWalk is their new home, I know I’ve helped them to live a more independent, stimulating life.”
RICARDO PINEIRO
Building Services Supervisor
“When new residents come to RiverWalk, they worry about who will help them hang pictures, change the light bulb, or reach the top shelf. Many of them say having me around makes them feel more secure. It warms my heart.”
GEMMA MAVER
Director of Sales and Marketing
“My joy each day is getting to know and build relationships with people who are interested in becoming part of our community. Their histories, experiences, and contributions make RiverWalk an active and vibrant place to live and to thrive.”
