Free program will help Riverdale’s low-income older adults stay independent at home

The Riverdale Press – The Hebrew Home at Riverdale by RiverSpring Living is launching CAPABLE, a free home-based program designed to help low-income older adults remain independent in their homes. Funded by a $917,841 New York State Department of Health grant, the program will provide personalized support from nurses, occupational therapists and handypersons to 200 older adults over three years.
