RiverSpring Health Plans member Josephine Melecio is celebrating a huge milestone–her 110th birthday! Originally from Puerto Rico, she came to America as a young woman and worked for many years in a factory making shoes and handbags. She then worked the overnight shift at a nursing home until she retired at the age of 90. She currently lives with her daughter Shirley on the Upper West Side with support from a home health aide provided through RiverSpring Health Plans.
